Today the Sun is about midway through its Virgo tour, getting us ready for Equinox and the turning of the season. It's time for tending the most sacred and essential. Because Virgo is a pattern-master, the tending is intricate.
At its best, Virgo expresses the Priestess archetype and seeks out the innate patterns at the base of existence. The temple-keeper calls us into meaningful action in service to life.
May our hands and hearts be swift as the world calls for care.
Walking in the Beauty Way
Meanwhile, another cycle is also beginning -- our shining planet Venus is starting her retrograde tour (through Libra and Scorpio with a bonus Mercury Rx for those keeping track). This is something she does about every year and a half, so it's good to lean in when we get to this part of the journey.
From now into November, Venus will be looking behind her, reflecting, excavating, and reclaiming. We each have the chance to join in this part of the dance and, if we do, the likely result will be a renewed view of how creativity, beauty, and relatedness can bring healing to our lives and our world.
And just to state the obvious, the world is ready for a deep reevaluation of the feminine on the personal and the global scale. In a world where we are asked to fill a Dolly, Gloria, and Wendell sized gap, we should all be asking . . . . What would Beauty do?

As it happens, I'm getting into the retrospective spirit of things with a heartful return of my own -- making pilgrimage back to my mom's home for a certain kind of personal closure, three years now since her passing.
Choose your adventure. There is plenty to discover as we reverse course in the months ahead. May we all return with a greater love, and a willingness to lift and strengthen all that sustains Life in this world.
