I am just getting back from the fairyland of enchantments known as Oregon Country Fair, where I had the privilege of reading Tarot for dozens of gentle humans over the course of four days. If you were one of those humans,thank youfor the privilege of sitting with you for a brief moment on your journey.
With the Fair's sparkles still in my hair, I thought I'd pause for a brief inventory of which cards/symbols/stories formed a prevalent throughline, creating a sort of collective reading of the moment.
Reviewing the overarching patterns, it feels like a whole lot of us are riding on the very fine edge between longing and despair.
Whoosh... so much chaos, breakdown, and change this month (this lifetime) it's hard to know what to even hope for. And yet can't you hear something slowly growing?

In the Lunar Tale for this month, we are waiting on a shoreline - waiting for a sailboat that we may or may not see from the water's edge. But the lapping of water against the sand helps us forge a heartful attunement with what is coming toward us.
Are we dreaming something into being? How would we know?

Showing up on extreme repeat in this weekend's readings was The Star Tarot card. With Venus shining so brightly in our evening skies, it seems perfect that the Star Goddess would grace our dreams and pathfinding.

Her presence gently encourages us to vision toward a bright and flourishing future -- for ourselves and for the world.
β If it feels like you are carrying too much weight, stuck in cycles of worry and overwhelm, or waiting for some magical permission slip to help you take the step you know is meant for you, I can assure you that you are 100% in good company. π€
The upshot is that we are all trying to figure it out. As the world's fabric heaves and stretches, we each are called to double check the path we are making and course correct as needed.
Are you moving in flow with the deeper Gaian intelligence that lives within and around you?This reciprocal dance is on offer right now and heartily encouraged.
For the summer at least, and honestly not bad as a long-term strategy, I believe we'll do best by leaning into the strange engine of serendipity as a means of navigation.
The in-between is filled with awkward moments, peculiarities, and pleasant surprises. Showing up and listening is the best way to find yourself in the right place at the right time. Look for and enjoy benevolent happenstance.
As this month's Lunar Tale tells us, "We are growing into guardians of the possible."
